As part of your arsenal of understanding, it would be hard to do much better than Hendriksen as a starting place. An Interpretation of the Book of Revelation is a highly beneficial book for Christians hoping to understand the daunting Book of Revelation a bit better. I think it is a must read for serious students of Revelation, even if you don’t agree with his view which I do not.

The result is a straig This edition is a happy combination of real scholarship and simplicity of expression that makes this commentary especially helpful to lay persons. Interpreting the book of Revelation is not an easy task.

The book of Revelation has always been difficult for me to access. The work also contains a wealth of personal and hopeful application.
More Than Conquerors
For those who are looking for a book to settle a millennial eschatological position, this will not be the work. This book was given to me by a wollian at church.
I have studiously avoided eschatology during my five-year Reformed journey because thirty years as Dispensationalist, with their love affair with the modern State of Israel, their pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib rapture debates, and newsp This book was given to me by a friend at church.
I couldn’t recommend this book more for those who are new to eschatology like myselfand are tired of contemporary versions of the end times. This book is quite technical, so perhaps not for the beginne A brilliant, in-depth analysis of the book of Revelation.
All I can say is “Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
