Book Review: Evermore (The Immortals #1) by Alyson Noel
You got a real understanding for why she is so stand offish, why she’s closed herself off from the world. Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school–but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste The plot in the beginning is interesting but somewhere along the way it lost it’s edge and it became evedmore joke.

Haven is described as a goth who is doing the ‘immature’ in Ever’s eyes thing of suddenly dressing in black and listening to all evernore music her parents can’t stand and covering her once-preppy bedroom with the posters of heavy metal bands.
Her parents and little sister didn’t survive, but Ever did. S I was expecting great things from Evermore and I was right.
