The book is unique in its concentration on an thorough treatment of one of the most important aspects of groundfighting, passing the guard. The authors are thorough and systematic in their coverage of the guard.

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. I’m a bjj blue belt and I like this book a lot, but it’s not an easy book to use. Beneville had teamed up with Tim Cartmell for the first book and has done even better benrville, documenting some of the game of the legendary Joe Moreira.
